we arrived in Singapore last night.
and i feel like Jasmine from the movie Aladdin.
this place is crazy.
so clean, especially in comparison to other cities in Asia.
5 hour bus ride...the last 20 minutes being luxurious because we switched to a super V.I.P. bus.
simon, richelle, derek and i wandered around an unknown area for awhile, and then stumbled across "Sleepy Sams" which is more like a bed and breakfast than a hostel.
it is LUXURY.
they love love love ikea here apparently.
i had a hot shower this morning.
followed by free breakfast, and free internet.
the food here is amazing...last night we had a late dinner of chicken satay...the best i've ever had i think.
our server's name was "moose".
he only had 3 teeth.
and doesn't like rootbeer because it is only drank by "root" people aka rude.
last night i slept on a soft pillow for the first time in weeks.
woke up at 5:30 am due to the outrageous singing voices creeping up from the mosque outside our window.
now we are on our way to the Singapore Zoo, and then it's off to sip Singapore slings and shop in chinatown!
