i'd like that saran wrapped up please...

well we've been in this city for about 4 days or maybe 5...
i've lost count.
we went to the bus station today to try to book a train or bus to get the H out of dodge.
no such luck.
all i got out of that place was an instant headache from all the yelling...
and a sweatier body.
(if that's possible.)
no, i'm pretty sure it was around 35 above outside, and at least 42 inside.
plus a fazillion percent humidity.
there were only two spots open on the sketch night bus and they were nowhere near each other, and i'm not ready to sit by some creeper during the night in this place. so we'll wait another day to go.

it rained again this afternoon and we really didn't accomplished much today.
i did however manage to make it to the post office to pick up some boxes to send stuff home...
about 13 or 14 kilos...gulp.
lucky for me, it's super super cheap otherwise i would be giving it all to the beggars in the streets. even then, i don't think they'd be THAT pumped on my junk.

we are going to go to the Batu Caves either tomorrow or the day after, as well as the Lake Gardens, should be fun. until then i'm gonna sit back with my bag of lychee's and mangosteen and go read the new chuck palahniuk book that derek bought! (if he lets me...)

ps. here's some more facts about KL:
...they wrap everything in saran wrap. shoes for sale, drying meat, small children...you name it.
...they don't serve real popcorn at theaters! just caramel...bleh. but they do on the other hand serve mashed potatoes instead!
